This paper presents the recent implementation and assessment of the Synthetic-Eddy Method and its divergence-free version in the unstructured compressible DLR-TAU solver. The implementation allows for a flexible placement of multiple interface planes inside unstructured grids. The methods are assessed in different flow cases. To ensure sufficient numerical accuracy, a low-dissipation low-dispersion scheme is applied in all simulations.
